While vacationing in Hong Kong in 1997, Franck Dubarry, a sportsman with a taste for the good life, a love for the sea, and a great appreciation for beautiful designs, became interested in some of the more technologically-advanced, fashion-forward timepieces. His desire to create a lifestyle brand that catered to the individual led Franck to create a watch company in 1997: TechnoMarine.
Franck's philosophy was that TechnoMarine Watches needed to embody a lifestyle and appeal to the consumer on several levels including aesthetic and design. The TechnoMarine Watch line began with one elegantly designed watch - a stainless steel chronograph with a translucent plastic band called the Raft., and TechnoMarine was born.
Innovative in design and superior in craftsmanship, the TechnoMarine Raft sold over 50,000 units during its first year in production. The allure of TechnoMarine Watches is that they combine high-end luxury with sportsmanship, practicality with adventure, and durability with beauty. TechnoMarine has evolved to become a full lifestyle brand and is sure to fit right into yours.
Of the more than 110 TechnoMarine Watch styles available today, the most famous and eye-catching of all is the amazing TechnoDiamond collection, a flashier version of the original TechnoMarine Dive Watch. In addition to a broad selection of attractive face and translucent watchband colors including, yellow, pink, mauve, blue jean and transparent, the TechnoDiamond's most noticeable feature is its brilliant 1.1ct diamond revolving bezel, arranged in a bead setting around the face. The TechnoDiamond collection is also available in both regular dial and chronograph models, and feature day/date functions and water resistance to 660 feet (or 20 ATMs). When introduced to the world, it immediately won recognition as one of the best new products at the 1999 Basel Watch Show in Switzerland, and Technomarine has thrived ever since.
Since its inception in 1999, the TechnoMarine Watch product line has grown to include more than 110 distinct styles while distribution has expanded to include retail outlets in six continents. In 2001, TechnoMarine evolved even further as the company split into 2 lifestyle-focused divisions, TechnoMarine and TechnoMarine Sport. Recognizing the different needs of consumers, the TechnoMarine and TechnoMarine Sport collections will more closely target consumer identities. |
